Couple, who worked for tribal communities for 40 yrs, conferred with Padma Shri

President Droupadi Murmu conferred Dr Ramchandra Godbole and Suneeta Godbole with Padma Shri for their social work in the field of healthcare for tribal communities in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh over the past 40 years. While speaking about the honour, Dr Godbole said, "Receiving the Padma award fills us with pride. Our focus remains on tribal children and fight against malnutrition."
