Couple in UK mistakenly get ₹19,000-crore bill for one minute of gas

A couple in UK were mistakenly told by energy supplier Shell that they used £1.9 billion (₹19,000 crore) worth of gas in just one minute. The couple spotted the figure on Shell's app after being notified to update their direct debit details. "This was an error...We don't expect...them...to pay for the world's supply of gas," a Shell Energy spokesperson said.
