Couple leaves 158 barrels of human waste as they flee own eco-retreat amid probe in Sweden
Flemming Hansen and Mette Helbaek fled their environment-friendly retreat Stedsans in Sweden and travelled to Guatemala amid a tax probe, The Guardian reported. The Danish couple, which "felt call of wild" before establishing Stedsans, left 158 barrels of human waste and sewerage, which is now seeping into a nearby forest. Stedsans declared itself bankrupt in March.
