Couple who returned from UAE tests positive for Omicron in Kerala

A 68-year-old man and his 67-year-old wife, who arrived in Kerala's Ernakulam from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on December 8, tested positive for the Omicron variant of COVID-19 on Friday. "As UAE wasn't included in the high-risk country...they were advised for self-monitoring," Health Minister Veena George said. The total tally of Omicron cases in Kerala has increased to seven.
