Court clears Elon Musk’s Tesla pay deal after long legal fight

The Delaware Supreme Court has restored Elon Musk’s 2018 Tesla pay deal, ending a years-long court case. Judges said cancelling the deal unfairly denied Musk pay for work already done after Tesla met all targets. Because Tesla’s share price has risen sharply, the stock-based package is now worth far more than originally expected.
