Court could revise Sheikh Hasina's death verdict or acquit her: B'desh PM's adviser

Bangladesh PM Tarique Rahman's adviser, Zahed Ur Rahman, welcomed ousted PM Sheikh Hasina’s plan to return to the country. Bangladesh's International Crimes Tribunal sentenced her to death over alleged “crimes against humanity” during the 2024 student protests. Rahman said proceedings against Hasina will remain transparent and the court could revise the verdict against her or even acquit her.
