Court slams Delhi police for manipulating case diary

A Delhi court has slammed the city police for allegedly manipulating the case diary and thus, let off a man who was earlier accused of indiscriminately firing at two persons. The court observed that in the absence of any convincing material on record to hold the accused guilty, his name in the case appeared to be "an afterthought".
