Court suspends sentence of model, grants bail in Madhur case

A Mumbai Court has suspended the jail sentence given to model Preeti Jain for 4 weeks to appeal in the High Court. She was sentenced to three years imprisonment for plotting to kill filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. Preeti and two other accomplices have been given bail on the condition of payment of fine imposed along with the bail sum of ₹15,000.
