The typhoid vaccine made by Bharat Biotech, maker of India's first indigenous COVID-19 vaccine COVAXIN, has been flagged by drug regulator CDSCO as 'Not of Standard Quality'. We've initiated recalls of Typbar batch number 54A22001A (vi polysaccharide typhoid vaccine), the firm said. It claims Typbar is India's first vaccine to get WHO's Good Manufacturing Practice prequalification certificate.
