COVID +ve Indian-origin Singaporean coughs at colleagues; jailed

A 64-year-old Indian-origin man in Singapore was sentenced to two weeks in jail for deliberately coughing in the direction of two colleagues while he was infected with COVID-19 in 2021. Tamilselvam Ramaiya told investigators that he had coughed at the colleagues as a "joke". He was sentenced after pleading guilty to one count of breaching COVID-19 regulation.
