COVID-19 cases near 1,700 in Indore district, death toll reaches 81

The number of coronavirus cases in Indore district has risen to 1,681 after 27 more people tested positive in the last 24 hours, Chief Medical and Health Officer Praveen Jadia said on Wednesday. The death toll rose to 81 after a 36-year-old man suffering from diabetes and hypertension and a 75-year-old man with a cardiac disorder passed away.
