COVID-19 deaths in Spain cross 25,000, total cases rise to 2.16L
The coronavirus death toll in Spain rose to 25,100 on Saturday after 276 new fatalities were recorded overnight, the health ministry said. The total cases rose to 2,16,582 from 2,15,216 on Friday. Spain has the highest number of cases in Europe, followed by Italy and the UK. Earlier, the government announced a four-phase plan to end lockdown starting May 4.
