COVID-19 originated from a laboratory in China: US ex-CDC chief

Robert Redfield, ex-Director of US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said he believes that COVID-19 originated from a lab in Wuhan, China, and potentially began spreading in September 2019 after it "escaped". "Other people don't believe that. That's fine. Science will eventually figure it out," he added. Redfield also said he's not accusing China of purposefully releasing it.
