COVID-19 suspect dies while trying to escape from hospital; tests negative

Shiv Charan, a suspected COVID-19 patient in Haryana, died after reportedly falling from the sixth floor of a hospital on Monday. Charan, who was admitted on April 1, was trying to escape from the hospital by using bedsheets as rope but fell accidentally, police said. "We got his report telephonically in which he tested negative," Karnal CMO Ashwini Ahuja said.
