'Cow' blast in space could be a black hole's birth: Study

A study by Northwestern University researchers suggests the mysterious 'Cow' blast, first observed on June 16, 2018, was generated by birth of a black hole or neutron star. However, another study by Maryland University argues it could be a black hole shredding a passing star. The blast had occurred inside or near galaxy 'CGCG 137-068', about 200 million light-years away.
