Cow dies of dog bite, 450 people who had prasad from its milk get anti-rabies shots in UP

Around 450 people from two villages in UP's Gorakhpur received anti-rabies vaccinations after consuming charanamrit prepared from the milk of a cow suspected of having rabies. The cow died on Tuesday after displaying unusual behaviour, prompting the health department to organise a vaccination drive as a precautionary measure. "The people were afraid," Gorakhpur Deputy CMO Rajesh Kumar said.
