Cracks appear on Rewa bridge in MP; heavy vehicles banned till April 30

Cracks appeared on a bridge over the Bihad River in Madhya pradesh's Rewa, prompting authorities to ban heavy vehicles until April 30, officials said on Wednesday. Police have diverted heavy vehicles heading to Prayagraj and Varanasi via the Maihar-Satna-Chitrakoot route after the closure. The bridge, built around two decades ago, is a key route to neighbouring Uttar Pradesh.
