Crew didn't declare emergency, aircraft made safe precautionary landing in Trichy: Air India

An Air India Express spokesperson clarified that the operating crew of the Tiruchirappalli-Sharjah aircraft didn't declare an emergency after reporting a technical snag. "Aircraft circled multiple times...[as] precaution, to reduce fuel and weight considering the runway length, before making a safe precautionary landing," the spokesperson added. Around 140 passengers were onboard the flight.
