Cricket pitch-sized asteroid to pass by Earth

Recently spotted Asteroid 2026 JH2, the size of a cricket pitch, will make an exceptionally close flyby of Earth on May 18. The asteroid, measuring around 16-35 metres, will make its closest approach to Earth at just 91,000 km away, according to Space.com. Moving at a speed of 9.14 kmps, it will reach the closest point at around 2123 GMT.
