Former England captain Eoin Morgan opined that cricket "would end up dying in a ditch" if T20 cricket, including the IPL and other leagues, did not exist. "The level of popularity would decline," he said. Morgan added, "Trying to sell a five-day game or just a one-day game in particular, to young kids now is very, very tough."
