Cricketer fined ₹1 lakh by BCCI for texting girlfriend during live TNPL match

An unnamed cricketer has been fined ₹1 lakh by BCCI's Anti-Corruption and Security Unit for texting his girlfriend during a Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) match. The officials recovered an undeclared mobile phone from the Players and Match Officials Area. The player has been withdrawn from selection, with TNCA investigating the matter.
