Cristiano Ronaldo to wear jersey number seven at Manchester United again

Manchester United have confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will wear the number seven jersey after returning to Old Trafford. The five-time Ballon d'Or wore the shirt number during his first spell with the club from 2003-2009. It has previously been worn by club legends like George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona and David Beckham. Ronaldo inherited the number from Edinson Cavani.
