Criticism of judiciary must be within bounds: India's next Chief Justice

India's next Chief Justice Uday Umesh Lalit on Monday said, "The public has the right to see whether our judgments are up to the expectations of society or not." However, he added, there must be a line that should be drawn. "Any criticism is a pointer that even...judiciary can do...course corrections...but that criticism should be within bounds," he added.
