CRPF jawan dies of dengue in Gujarat, 43 personnel test positive

A 26-year-old CRPF jawan, Amal Barman, died of dengue in Gujarat while preparing for the October 31 National Unity Day parade. Gandhinagar Civil Hospital reported 43 hospitalised personnel with dengue, up from 24. Authorities have ordered fogging, anti-larval measures, fever surveys and medical monitoring at accommodation sites and the parade ground to contain the outbreak.
