Crude oil crashes 8%, HPCL and IndiGo shares rally

Brent crude fell 8.7% to $94.62 a barrel on Wednesday amid hopes of easing Middle East tensions, triggering gains in oil-sensitive stocks on Thursday. HPCL surged 6.2%, BPCL rose 4.2%, Asian Paints gained 4.2% and IndiGo climbed 4.84%. Meanwhile, upstream producers declined, with ONGC falling 1.7% and Oil India dropping over 4%.
