Crypto billionaire's exchange FTX moves HQ from Hong Kong to Bahamas
Cryptocurrency billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried's crypto-derivatives exchange FTX has moved its headquarters from Hong Kong to Bahamas. Its Bahamian subsidiary, FTX Digital Markets, has been registered by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas as a digital assets business. Ryan Salame, former head of over-the-counter at Alameda Research, had been appointed as the CEO of FTX Digital Markets.
