Crypto holder says his tweet to Musk prompted Tesla to buy Bitcoin

MicroStrategy CEO and cryptocurrency holder Michael Saylor has said that he believes his Twitter exchange with Elon Musk prompted Tesla's $1.5 billion investment in Bitcoin. In December, Saylor said Musk should do Tesla's shareholders a "$100 billion favour" by converting the company's balance sheet to Bitcoin. "In time it would grow to become a $1 trillion favour," Saylor told Musk.
