CSK 1st team to qualify for IPL 2021 playoffs, go past the league stage for 11th time

CSK defeated SRH by 6 wickets to become the first team to qualify for the IPL 2021 playoffs. CSK are currently on top of the table with 18 points from 11 matches. CSK have now gone past the league stage for 11th time in their 12 seasons. They had failed to go past the league stage in IPL 2020.
