CSK defeat RCB by 8 runs as record for most runs scored in an IPL 2023 match gets broken

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by eight runs in their IPL 2023 match on Monday. CSK put up a total of 226/6 before restricting RCB for 218/8. A total of 444 runs were scored in the match, the highest match aggregate in an IPL 2023 match. The previous record was 433 runs aggregated in KKR-SRH match.
