CSK-KKR players wear black armbands in memory of GD Gopinath

CSK and KKR players wore black armbands during their IPL 2026 match at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium on Tuesday to pay tribute to former India cricketer CD Gopinath. Gopinath, India's oldest Test cricketer and the last surviving member of India's first-ever Test win, had passed away on April 9 in Chennai at the age of 96.
