CTI demands protest ban in Delhi during festive season

The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) has written to PM Modi demanding a ban on large protests in central Delhi from Navratri to Diwali. CTI claims business activity has dropped 70% in three days, with daily shoppers from outside Delhi falling from 2-3 lakh to 40,000-50,000. It also proposed a permanent protest zone at Burari or Ramlila Maidan.
