Cuba refuses to let US embassy import diesel for its generators

The Cuban government has refused a request from US Embassy in Havana to allow it to import diesel for its generators. US was reportedly considering a reduction in staff at the Havana Embassy because of a diesel shortage. This comes as Cuba faces a humanitarian crisis after US President Donald Trump imposed restrictions on its fuel imports.
