Culture of exchanging Diwali gifts adds to vehicular pollution in Delhi: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court on Friday flagged the culture of exchanging Diwali gifts as one of the contributors to vehicular pollution in Delhi. The court stressed that there was a need for a "cultural shift" to curb the every year menace of air pollution in the city. This comes as AQI in Delhi neared 400.
