CUP, CGWB sign MoU to map uranium contamination in Bathinda

The Central University of Punjab (CUP) signed an MoU with the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) to jointly investigate groundwater quality, focusing on uranium and heavy metal contamination in Bathinda and Goniana. Under the pact, CGWB will collect pre- and post-monsoon water samples, prepare contamination maps, and monitor groundwater levels, with CUP providing research inputs.
