Curfew imposed in Andhra Pradesh extended till the end of May

The 18-hour curfew from 12 pm to 6 am imposed in Andhra Pradesh to contain the spread of coronavirus has been extended till the end of the month. The decision has been taken due to the growing COVID-19 case positivity rate in the state. Andhra Pradesh on Saturday registered 24,171 new COVID-19 cases, the biggest one-day jump in the state.
