Cursor challenges Microsoft with new launch, days after SpaceX's $60-bn acquisition
AI coding startup Cursor has launched Origin, a cloud-based code hosting platform to rival Microsoft's GitHub, days after its $60 billion acquisition by Elon Musk's SpaceX. The platform lets developers host, manage, and collaborate on code while allowing Cursor's AI agents to edit and work directly on those repositories. Musk had earlier launched Macrohard, an AI project to rival Microsoft.
