Cursor launches new AI coding tool to rival OpenAI and Anthropic

Startup Cursor has launched a new AI coding tool, Cursor 3, to keep up with rivals like Anthropic's Claude Code and OpenAI's Codex. It allows human developers to run multiple AI agents at the same time and assign each one to different tasks like building features, fixing a bug and coding. Cursor recently faced backlash over its Composer 2 model.
