Customers see trillion-dollar bill estimates after bug in Amazon's cloud billing tool

Several Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers reported seeing inflated monthly billing estimates, with some figures crossing into trillions of dollars. AWS said a unit pricing error caused the issue in its Cost Explorer tool, adding that the displayed estimates do not reflect actual usage or charges. "You gave me a heart attack," one X user wrote.
