CWG gold medallist Asmita Dey bows out in bronze medal match at Asian Games

Indian judoka Asmita Dey missed out on a medal in the women's 48kg category at the Asian Games 2026 on Wednesday. The 23-year-old lost to Ganbaatar Narantsetseg of Mongolia by waza-ari in the bronze medal match. Notably, Asmita had won the gold medal in the women's 48kg event at the Commonwealth Games 2026.
