CWG silver medallist Muthupandi urges TN govt to expand weightlifting infra

Commonwealth Games 2026 silver medallist Raja Muthupandi has urged the CM Vijay-led Tamil Nadu government to establish weightlifting training centres across all districts. "I'm happy that CM Vijay announced a cash incentive of ₹30 lakh the day after I secured the medal," he said. "I dedicate this silver medal to my parents and the people of Tamil Nadu," Raja added.
