Cybercriminals hack servers of Hyd's bank, transfer ₹12 crore; probe on

Hyderabad Police have started an investigation after cybercriminals allegedly hacked the servers of the AP Mahesh Co-operative Urban Bank and transferred over ₹12 crore to about 100 different bank accounts. The fraud came to light during internal verification, following which the bank lodged a police complaint. Notably, it's believed to be the first such e-fraud targeting a bank in Hyderabad.
