Cyclist survives crash after hitting safety net at Alpe d'Huez

American cyclist Sepp Kuss survived a terrifying crash after colliding with safety netting on the edge of Alpe d'Huez during Stage 20 of the Tour de France. The Visma-Lease a Bike rider lost balance on a corner and fell onto the barrier, narrowly avoiding a steep drop. Reports said Richard Carapaz won the stage following the incident.
