Cyclone 'Dana' forms over Bay of Bengal, landfall by Oct 25: IMD

A deep depression over east-central Bay of Bengal intensified into cyclonic storm 'Dana' on Wednesday, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. 'Dana' is expected to cross Odisha-West Bengal coasts between Puri and Sagar Island between night of October 24 and morning of October 25 as severe cyclonic storm. Heavy rainfall is very likely over Odisha, and gangetic West Bengal, IMD said.
