Cyclone Dana weakens, could become insignificant in 12 hrs: IMD

Cyclone Dana has weakened into a low-pressure area over north Odisha and is likely to become insignificant within 12 hours, IMD reported. The storm made landfall on Friday between Bhitarkanika and Dhamra, with wind speeds of 100-110 kmph, uprooting trees and snapping power lines across several areas. One person was killed in West Bengal due to the cyclone's impact.
