Cyclone Tauktae intensifies into extremely severe cyclonic storm: IMD

Very severe cyclonic storm Tauktae over Eastcentral Arabian Sea intensified into an "extremely severe cyclonic storm", said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday. The cyclone is very likely to move north-northwestwards and reach Gujarat coast between 12 pm and 3 pm today and cross the Gujarat coast between Porbandar and Mahuva (Bhavnagar district) between 3 pm and 6 pm.
