DA hiked by 4% for Guj govt employees, to be effective from Jan 1

Gujarat government has hiked Dearness Allowance by 4% for state government employees and pensioners. According to CM Bhupendra Patel's Office, the decision will be effective from January 1, 2024, for employees covered under the Seventh Pay Commission. The difference in DA for the additional six months i.e. from 1st January to June 30th will be paid along with salary.
