Dad faced ridicule for playing girl, considered suicide: Nagarjuna

Actor Nagarjuna revealed his late father Akkineni Nageswara Rao was ready to kill himself after people made fun of him for playing a girl on stage. "He went to the Marina beach and said...he wanted to kill himself," Nagarjuna recalled. "Water was till his waist...but something in him said...he had to prove everyone wrong so he came back," he added.
