Dalit man made to lick spit over son's interfaith marriage

A Dalit man in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district was allegedly forced to lick his own spit by the Panchayat as his son married a Muslim girl. "The Panchayat said my wife and daughter should be paraded naked," said Shree Krishna and added that he has been asked to leave the village. The police have arrested two people in the case.
