Dalit man's thumb chopped with sword as son picks up ball in Guj

A man's thumb was chopped off by a group of upper-caste men in Gujarat after his son picked up a cricket ball. Following the incident, the accused hurled casteist slurs but the matter was soon resolved. However, the victim was allegedly attacked later at a tea stall with swords during which the man's thumb got severed.
