Dalit men in Tihar Jail go on hunger strike over 'Valmiki Jayanti'

Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad and other Dalit men lodged in the Tihar Jail on Sunday sat on a hunger strike protesting against the jail authorities who allegedly denied them permission to observe 'Valmiki Jayanti'. However, the jail authorities denied the allegations and claimed to have granted them permission. Bhim Army threatened to gherao CM Arvind Kejriwal's residence on Monday.
